At his home in Riley Township, Sunday September 28th, 1884. Charles Hirt aged 27 years, 8 months and 20 days.
Mr. Hirt’s death was caused by Typhoid fever. He was one of Riley’s well known and highly respected citizens and his early demise casts a shade of universal regret over the entire community. Funeral services and internment, Monday with burial at Schoch Cemetery in Riley Township.
